1978 70hp Stinger Outboard

I'm looking at one for sale, he seems honest and says it ran great but now intermittently has no spark on any cylinder. Likely an easy fix but does anybody know much about these outboards? Are they decent motors, anything I should look out for. Are there parts available? Would it be worth $400 currently not running with tilt/trim and the controls?

An old outboard is worth whatever your willing to pay and how much you need it. I would advise doing a compression check and then do a new assessment.

Parts can be found.----But you need to know where to look and have some patience.-----Compression test should be done before you hand over the beer tokens.
