Okay firsts I was having trouble with the starter and finally I got that all in working order and the engine fired up. I let it idle for about 10 min or so then shut it off. Then about a half hour later I tried to start it again but the engine wouldn't start. The spark plugs where pretty old and dirty so I replaced them but it didn't make a difference. The fuel line seems to be gettig fuel through it. Idk where to go from here anyone have any advice on what to try next?

Check your spark. It should jump a 7/16" open air gap on a spark tester.

When you are trying to start the engine, pull one or two spark plugs. Are the plugs wet or dry?. That will tell you something about the fuel and spark. If the plugs are wet, they may not be firing. If the plugs are dry, then the carbs may not be providing fuel. (Make sure you have new fuel with no water in the bottom of the tank. )
