My bet would be it is just a name possibly hoping to
capitalize on the Dodge Charger in their automotive line.
Something like the old Mercury Mark 55 or Mark 75
nothing to do with displacement or horsepower. Then you have the Evinrude Big Twin or Johnson Super Sea Horse just great sounding names.

The motor is only as good as it was taken care of. If it runs good get a new impeller and a service manual as soon as possible. Use high quality TC W3 oil and mix 50 to 1 on gas and change out the lower unit oil as soon as possible. The biggest problems with chryslers is that not many people will work on them anymore and parts mainly ignition parts are getting harder and harder to find. If motor is running good and you plan to keep it you might want to start buying stuff on ebay for spare parts.
