Hello, I am new to this forum as well as boat ownership.<br />I have a new battery (3months old) and it just went dead. So, I am guessing the charging system is not working. Using basic troubleshooting, I got the motor started, then disconnected the battery to make sure the motor was not running off the battery. It ran fine, but obviously is not charging the battery. <br /> I do not have any testing equipment and would appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of what might need to be replaced and if I can get a hold of some testing equipment, what I should look for.<br /> Thanks in advance for the help.
