i'm having trouble getting a trim motor for my tnt system. i have the calco style motor which i think the # is omc 17-2847. everyone wants to retrofit my motor/pump assembly. my question is can i do the retrofit or does anyone know someone that sells just the motors???

I ran into the same problem. The Calco motors are non-existent; you can't buy one anywhere. You can have one rebuilt, but that's around $500. The other option was to buy an aftermarket pump/motor assembly, also around $500. I finally found a guy who has a patented adapter kit. It allows you use the ARCO 6205 or 6220 motor with a Calco pump. Friggin' ingenious. I paid $120 for the adapter and $100 for the motor, and it works beautifully.
