1978 Glastron Restoration

New to the site here been reading on here for about a week now and with some help of fellow members on here i finally figured out what year my boat is!

ok now here is the problem the boat is in good shape overall except the inside floor!!!

it was bowed up and wet so I started tearing it out and this is what i found!!!!

now i am able to replace everything i am just not sure on what type of wood to use or the foam??? or what type of fiber glass to use!


any help would be appreciated

Gut it.

Use the search again..

Grind grind..and research some more..there are plenty of restores that you need to look at m8..

poly vs. epoxy..etc..

How's your project going. I have totally done the 78 cvx ss and am about a week away from splashing her.
