Well I pulled a dumb stunt sunday evening and changed my prob out for my spare because of a stubborn tree stump from the weekend before.. and in my haste to get to the lake I forgot to put the cottor key in...well we all know what happend my good prop fell off... So my question is what prop size and pitch should I be looking at? I unfortnatly have no numbers off my prop to go off of.. The motor is a 1978 Evinrude 70 hp 3 cly outboard and the boat is a 15 foot fiberglass mod v bass boat that doesnt weigh much at all.... Looking for some rough numbers so I can get close to what I need.. and does this motor have a small gearcase or a big one?

thanks, this fourm has been so helpful since I started boating several years ago and the iboats store always has great prices and shipping, not sure why you would buy ne where else

Thanks in advance,

You have a large gear case, go with a 13 x 19 3 blade.
