The standard aluminum 9.5 x 10 x 3 that came with the motor is getting dinged up. I notice the exact same dimensions can be had in the aftermarket, but in the slightly smaller 9.25 diameter the Solas Amita seems to be the economical choice. Would the slight diameter change (but with the same pitch) make much of a difference?

The boat is a typical aluminum/fishing utility, Starcraft Sealite 14 ft., about 175 lbs. Loads vary between just myself (usually) and one or two additional people. I don't have a tach but it seems these are the loads the motor was designed for so I can't see changing pitch.

Anyone try one of these props?

The diameter doesn't enter directly into performance.
When changing brands results can vary, rarely drastically.Your not likely to notice a difference in performance except for being a new prop. The solas props have been pretty predictable. It may be cost effective to have a prop shop repair the prop.
