I am putting a new floor in a 1978 16' Lund and would like to keep it original. It has yellow linoleum looking type stuff but it is not slick. As far as I know it is the original floor.
Is it possible to purchase this covering? I also would like to replace the decals on the sides. It really is a nice straight boat and I would like to keep it like it was originally. Can someone give a little direction to a newbee boat owner?

I know Overton's has it in their catalog, but I'm also sure iboats.com, the company that supports our forum, would have it also.

Getting an exact match for 30 year old vinyl is not likely. Getting something reasonably close is certainly possible. As for decals, check e-bay or Craig's List but otherwise your Lund dealer might be able to get them.

I used Nautolex flooring in my old boat a few years ago.
It is not an exact match, but is a newer modern marine vinyl flooring.

I installed Deco Dot Vinyl Marine Flooring in my current boat.

Google search them, You will find them at big retailers and at "Gary's Upholstery". Contact Gary's, and have him mail some samples to you.
