So I posted months ago of this gem I got from my parents for free. Sunk some money into the motor to get it running and just need to do a tune up on it (which I can do myself). Now onto the next project of fixing the deck and filling the soft spots I found on the left stringer.

Hi, S10Sinner,
It looks like you have your work cut out for you! Our family had a similar boat; I believe it was a '77 model which was purchased in '78, from the dealer. We thought it was a pretty sweet boat! I had a lot of fun memories! I think about it occasionally; I wish I had more pics to share.
I remember that the upholstery was a cinnamon color, the engine was a Mercruiser (165HP?/250CID), with the tilt/trim mounted in the dash, rather then on the throttle handle. The engine compartment was smaller than what I'm seeing in the images that you show. The seats were along side of the engine compartment, rather than right in front, which allows for a bench seat for 3.
The hull was pretty solid, but over the years, everything else seemed to fall apart. It just faded away around 20 years ago. I've wondered what it would have been like to rebuild it. Maybe you'll provide a vicarious experience! I hope you can show more images of your progress.
Cheers, and best wishes!!!
