Hey Guys, I have a Merc 402 1977 model and the remote control (trottle/shift) are backwards. 
Reverse is forward and forward is reverse. Dont ask me how that happen but I need a diagram to get it right. The old book I have does not have a diagram of the remote box. I have tinkered with it and its driving me crazy lol... Everything works fine just backwards. If someone can post a pic I would be greatful. Thanks, Jeff
