Hi all,
I have a 78 402 that I rebuilt the whole power head and it runs great. However, I hit a car, yes a car underwater the other day going very slow about 2mph and it jolted the boat a little. the motor kept running and runs great but now there is quite a bit of smoke coming from the bottom of the power head where it attaches to the lower unit. I thought this motor exhausted out the prop, am I wrong? The smoke is normal for the motor but I am not used to seeing it come from this location.

Thanks,
Jason
