1978? Sea King 9hp fuel mixture

I just picked up i a 9hp sea king that i believe is a 1978. I was told to use a 32:1 mixture does that sound about right to you guys?

not for a 1978 outboard, with todays TC-W3 oils 40-50:1 should do fine depending on the temp out side
