1978 Shore Lander trailer Chrome Hubcap

[U.S.S. Too Tall]

As the post states, I have a 1978 Shore Lander trailer. Single axle. When I bought the boat& trailer, there was no spare for it. Doing research online, and calling my local shops, I couldnt find the same type rim that is on this trailer. The rim is a 13" x 4.5" rim with a almost solid construction, with 4 knobs to hold a 9 1/2" hubcap. I looked online for 2 weeks trying to find this rim, I even contacted the trailer company with no luck. I found the right rim at a neighbors house!! Now I would like to find this hubcap!! The cap is 9 1/2" diameter, chrome with a blue inlay that has ShoreStation and the logo on it. The trailer company told me that someone picked one up off of E-Bay once, but I have not seen anything on there. I would like to know if anyone would happen to have any info on this piece, or maybe a spare one laying around they would like to sell....:

After reading this post again, I thought that it would help if everyone could actually see what it was that I am talking about. So, there it is. I am hoping that someone out there has one of this hubcaps. I am really hoping that you would like to sell that one hubcap to me!! Thank you!!

would a just plain "baby moon" work and then have a decal made of the emblem?

I think thats a good idea. The wife told me that she found one on E-Bay the other day. Its was in not great condition, and the person wanted $90 for it!! I didnt think that it would be that much for a hubcap!!! I haven't looked at the one on ebay yet, but I think that $90 is a little to much!!! I think I will look into your idea woosterken. Thanks!

As it turns out, the one that was on E-Bay, was actually a smaller size. Im looking for the 9 1/2 inch hubcap. The one for sale is a 8 1/4 inch. I wonder what that guy would be asking if it was the 9 1/2!!??!! So, if your looking to sell yours, I hope that its not $90!!
