1979 115hp Mercury in-line6 - runs & stalls-out

I just got a internal wiring harness and installed that today. The motor firied in my drive-way, so I took it to the lake. Electrically the motor should be good. Got to the lake, it fired-up and idled for about 5minutes and died. Started backup and died after 1-minute. Did this about 10 times as we tried to go out and then back to the dock. There has to be a block n the fuel somewhere. I had already put a new gas line on it 5/16 with a 1/4 bulb. I will go get a 5/16 bulb also to make it right. I put sea foam in the gas tank but really did not get it to run long enough for it to do any good. Right now I am thinking its the bulb. Any other ideas ? All ready checked the fule filter. How about the fuel pump. How do you know if the pump is bad?? Motor compression is good

I am not mechancial, so if this is a caberator issue I will have to have someone else look at it
What should I be paying to have the carberators cleaned?

Also Ho wmuch should I be paying to have a new impeller installed ?

I sure would like to get this baby runnig before the end of the year

Could be the fuel pump..just have someone keep pumping the bulb to pump fuel, if that helps, get a kit for the fuel pump.

Did alot since my last talk. Got new seals for the fuel pump. They actually looked ok, but I replaced anyway. took out the boat still acting like it is not getting any fuel. I found a fuel line behind the starter that was broken. According to the book, its called the enricher
line. It was clearly broken. Fixed that line and the boat ran - yeaaa.

New problem Found water in lower unit. Pulled lower unit this past weekend. On the bottom side of the water pump the seal was bad. Replaced that seal as well as others.
Hope that fixes the problem, If not, You all will be hearing from me because I am out of ideas
