1979 70hp Cryl

Hi my son bought a boat with a 79- 70HP its is the 700 model. We just was wanting to know how good they are and are there parts still out there. The motor starts right up and runs good. Any info on it we would be gratefull. Thanks.

Chrysler motors are ok the main problem is parts.There have been 3 different ign. systems and it seems some parts are changed almost like your socks.
if you look here on iboats you will see there is little listed.You can try the Chryslercrew among others if parts are needed.Chryser became Force C. 1985.
