1979 70hp Evinrude rectifier

Hi all. I want to replace my rectifier with a rectifier/regulator. Any ideas on what would be a simple swap?

Hi John,<br /> Motor jobs don't get much simpler than that - simply remove the two bolts that hold the rectifier and the screws that hold the wires in place to the terminal block and reinstall the new one the same way. The wires are color coded, so make sure you take note of which one goes where. There's usually a sticker on the block that will tell you which goes where, but sometimes they peel off with age...<br />- Scott
