Well I bought a new SS prop for the boat last week and now this happens. I was running it around 5000 rpms when I hear that sound no one wants to hear.#2 cyl has no compression.Seems like I get one thing fixed and now this . When do you draw the line?Has anyone rebuilt one for themselves and if so how much were the parts? Or am I just wasting money and should move on?Any advice at this time I would love to hear.I have had the carbs rebuilt and most of the wiring and new waterpump so far this year. I hate to put money in the motor and the lower unit shells next.
