There is not a specific location for adding a temp sender on that engine. Best to have the sender function off of one of the two heads. It is possible to adapt a Z-shaped support bracket to hold the flat tip of the temp sender against the head. That will work. You can bolt the bracket in place by removing one of the head cover bolts. Make sure the sender is compatible with the gauge.
