Im looking to buy a 1979 Mercury 90 hp it runs fine at low end speed and at top end but is bogging down at the mid range. Anyone have any ideas what the problem my be I was told it my be the stator but I just didn't trust the guy that told me this. Their was a leakdown test and the results are cylinder #1 8%, 2 8%, 3 6%, 4 8%, 5 10%, 6 14%. Thanks Bob
