1979 evinrude 115hp lower unit removal

Ok, I have searched and searched for the answer to my question and I cannot find it anywhere.

I have a 1979 evinrude 115hp that needs a new water pump. I know the shift rod needs to be disconected for the lower unit to come off. How do i do this? I know there is a bolt behind the carbs, but can someone show me a picture of which one? Or is there another way to disconnect it?
