1979 Mercury 7.5 No Spark

Hello. I am new to outboards and also new to this forum. I am a complete newbie. I purchased a 1979 Mercury 7.5 thunderbolt ignition that has been sitting for years. The previous owner said it was running fine when put away. He recently had the carb rebuilt and sold it to me when he found out there was no spark. Serial number is 7140026 and the model number is 1007209. Switchbox P/N is 339-6222A4. Can anyone provide me with any guidance on this no-spark issue. In the mean time I have to replace the pull-cord I broke. Thank you in advance.

Switchbox is listed as about $300 to $400 on another website.

Thabks for the reply. I am not even sure it is the switchbox. I am not sure what and where to start testing.
