Hello all, I am in the prosess of restoring a 79 ranger bass boat I just recieved. My question is about the live wells, it has 2, one at the bow and one at the rear. while I was checking out under the deck, i noticed the front live well, is not plumbed in, it has an over flow line going out the side of the boat, but the spray head is capped off under the deck and at the back live well, there is a pvc coming under the deck toward the front about 4 inches long, that is also capped off. it appears the front live well has never been plumbed. also under the spray head pipe in the front livewell, is a hole with a plug similar to a bilge plug, which when removed drains the water into the bilge, if it had access to water. Has anyone ever seen anything similar to this, and why would the front live well appear to have never been plumbed? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
