1980 175 Powerhead moving to 1987 XR2 150 Lower unit.

My XR2 Power head is blown so I got my hands on a good running 1980 175. I am looking to move the 1980 Powerhead over to the 1987 XR2 Lower unit. That way I can take advantage of the updated Tilt and Trim.

What would be involved in moving the 1980 Powerhead to the 1987 Lower unit. Will they simply bolt up or will there be more parts that need to be carried over?

Possibly the base plate, but not likely. When you have both power heads off, you can compare them.
