1980 18' crestliner I/O

1980 18" crestliner sport with no engine or outdrive....what options as far as engine and outdrive would I have to put in there? and how available are the engine and outdrives that I could put in this boat?

hi would have to know what was in there in first place,otherwise would just be guessing.that said if it was mercrusier lots all depending how much$$$$ you are willing to throw at it

I was told 228 mercruiser was in there before, now has nothing. what would you say is a high(I know the sky is the limit) and a low cost to replace engine and outdrive?

at least its a mercrusier that will be your best options for sure,a 305or 350 engine with an alpha1 is very nice package,iam guessing you need everything trim pump and all.your best bet [unless your rich]would be find a donor boat,and one could only guess how much.if look and have the time ihave seen them go under a thou.and everywhere up
