I have a 40 HP Mariner Boat motor. It died on me about a month ago while on the lake. I took the top off and messed with the plug wires to make sure they were on. I remove the gas filter and nothing in there. I could not get it to crank. I opened the throttle wide open and tried to crank it and nothing. Finally for some reason it cranked. I cleaned the carbs and so it is not fuel. I am getting fuel on the plugs. When I put a spark tester to each cylinder it is getting fire. How can I test the coil and the CDI box on this motor. I have a model 40 EO, 6E9 with electric choke.
