Just wondering what would cause my motor to flood real easy on cold start. If I mess up at all on a cold start with my choke or throttle on a cold start it floods and wont start for awhile. What could cause this? It is something new in the last few weeks.

Try not choking it. You might try just advancing the throttle a little bit or use the warm up lever if you have one on your control. Every engine has it's starting routine. you might try turning the key on then push it in for a second then turn it to start. If you don't know when the carbs were cleaned last you might do that. Is this a recent problem or has it always been this way?

This is not a new boat to me I have the start routine down this is a new problem. As an up date I put new plugs in and switched to a fresh tank for gas. I took her out today she started perfect this early am 5am. We sat on anchor till noon fishing. Temp was about 85 at noon. When i went to start it same thing it wouldnt start seemed flooded. I had a friend kink the gas line going in, to cut of the gas going to it. I kranked it several times and then it started. Not sure if kinking it did it but I did make it off the river. Could a carb be leaking in the cylinder? If so what should I be looking for when I start pulling carbs?

Sounds like you might have a float stuck and it is not shutting off the fuel when the bowl is full. Take the carbs off and give them a good cleaning. Pay attention to the needle valves under the float and make sure that they aren't sticking.
