Hi guys! I have a question on my carbs. Are the top set of high speed jets behind the flathead plug supposed to be seated or backed out a little? Right now them and the high speed in the bowl are seated and i cant get wot.

All of the jets (orifices) should be lightly seated in the carb. Have you checked the high speed orifice to see if they are restricted or plugged? How is the spark and compression?

Thanks for the reply!! Carbs are great just rebuilt them, just wanted to double check that they should be seated. Spark and compression are great 125ish on all three. I may have a weak coil that wont fire at high rpms. Been scrathing my head on this one!! It has a brand new, tank, lines, fuel pump, stator, powerpack. The only non-new electronics are my coils

You can use a timing light to check each plug wire at WOT and see if all cylinders are firing. At least that will tell you if you have an ign or fuel problem.
