1980 Evinrude 25 horse

Does anybody know how the wiring is constructed for the solenoid/starter/starter switch? Or however you may word that. I have attached a pic of its present layout. How does it need to be? Do I need a wire connecting "A" and "B" together? Does "C" need anything on it, and going somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. see pic below....

A is correct

B to starter button

C to neutral switch, then neutral [safety] switch to ground at engine block

D is correct but needs power to start button added at D, also need red wire to rectifier at D if you have a rectifier charging.

Negative Battery Cable needs to be bolted to the engine block.
