Hi Everyone..
I have a 1980 J35ELCSM 35 horse that I am trying to replace the clutch dog in, but I want to find out for sure how to remove the bearing housing assembly from the lower unit housing? Can you pull this with a gear puller?? It has the two bolts down deep inside that bolt it in?.. then it has the 2 both holes near the opening that I assume are there to insert the bolts for the puller? I have this picture of the breakdown of the lower unit and I need to get #1, the bearing housing assembly out of #20, the lower unit..
