1980 Sea Ray 210 Cuddy - 454 Question!

Ok, I'm getting totally confused. I've purchased this 1980 Sea Ray 210 CC, and found out it had a 454 in it. I have been searching Mercruiser data bases and found a lot of info that doesn't seem to add up. Some say you could get one with an Alpha One and some say you could get a Bravo One. But, some say Alpha's weren't made until '84 and some say Bravo's weren't made until around '91. IF it's neither and IF it hasn't been repowered, what Mercruiser outdrive would handle a 454 in 1980?? My head is starting to hurt!

Yea youll need to post some numbers off the drive and someone will be able to look em up and tell you what drive etc that you currently have !

Do you have an actual transmissioon between the engine and drive?

From 77 to 85, The TR or TRS was used.
