Re: 1981 chris craft scorpionb 210

I have one built in 79, for the most part, I like the boat. It rides well in most all conditions, will reach a good turn of speed (approx 50mph), and is just a good all around boat. The hull is built well, but the vinyl/plywood trim pieces are somewhat crude.. The lines of the boat are classic hard chined which appeal to me....be careful of rot as the stringer system is just half inch plywood covered with glass......

Re: 1981 chris craft scorpionb 210

I think they made a few at the end of 79 at least thats what the serial no. seems to state... I don't have a pic on the computer as I don't have a digital camera and my scanner is broken. I can tell you this tho. Mine is a cuddy cabin with a sliding hatch that goes almost to the bow which gives you fairly good access to the bow area for anchoring or fishing. it has two front/back seats typical of the time and then a seperate motor cover with a jump seat on each side of the cover..I know the newer ones have a sundeck type cover that goes all the way across the stern and are more modern looking.. although I like the little jump seats as they can be removed in a second and this gives you good access to the stern of the boat as well. I think the older setup is actually more useful to my needs...
