1981 chry 50hp coil

i have a 1981 chry 50hp economate with a faulty coil,the only coil i can find i a coil for 145.00 @$%*@!#@! , is there any alternative

Boats.net $99 You sure that it's bad?Swap it around and see if it's bad.Check the points and condenser.J
