Okay. You need to get specific, then. Add your location to your profile, and tell people where (what kind of water) and how you want to use the boat. For my waters (coastal/bay) I wouldn't be in it all except on the calmest of days. That's a very, very light boat. Is it even a V-hull?
For comparison, I just bought a 1995 16' Sylvan Pro Select dual console that I plan to use on the St. Lucie River in Florida once I tow it down there. I wouldn't get to use it much in my home (Long Island) waters. I've had it out a couple times here and things get real bouncy at 30 mph on a 'normal' afternoon (couple inches of chop) in the bay. That boat has a decent 'v' but still weighs only 850 lbs dry. A comparable 16' fiberglass v-hull will run app. 1200 lbs. Yours weighs only 550.
