1982 25 hp Force no spark on top cylinder

I have a friend who has a 25 hp Force that has been sitting for about 7 years.<br />When he pulls the cord there is no spark on the top cylinder. He hasn't tried to start it yet<br />but, we weren't sure if this motor had some strange firing pattern where it starts off of the bottom cylinder.<br />Any ideas would be appreciated. what you can try is to swap the wire's on the coil, trigger's and stator do this one at a time coil first then so on. if problem move to other cylinder you got it .example if you swap coil wire's now no spark on #2 cylinder coil is bad.
