OK Gents I am almost ready to see if the ol girl will fire up this weekend and just want to clarify a few things......just want to be extra careful and get everything right
I traced out wiring and all seems pretty good so far
Serial #7191197
1. Cylinders are numbered 1 thru 6 top to bottom
2. Ignition Coils are 1 thru 6 top to bottom same as Cylinders
3. Spark plug wires go directly from ignition coils to their respective cylinders ie. coil 1 to cyl. 1, coil 2 to cyl. 2, coil 3 to cyl. 3 and so on
4. The trigger assembly and switch boxes are what are responsible for the firing order of 1-4-5-2-3-6 (not the positioning of plug wires)
I also had a question about the wiring from stator to switch boxes....in all diagrams I have found it shows blue-white and red-white going to upper switch box and red and blue going to lower switch box, all other wiring is the same but on my motor they are reversed, does that matter or is it fine considering the stator is just giving the switch boxes AC voltage to store in the capacitor
Thanks Again !!!!
