I have a 1982 Bayliner Capri with a Volvo Penta. The motor is a 4 cyl AQ125. Im not sure if it is an "A" or "B". I believe the outdrive is a 270. I pulled the prop out yesterday because it was chewed up pretty bad. The part number that i was able to get off of it was 814634. When I looked it up it is a 14x21 prop. The part is discontinued so my question is. Does anybody know what prop that i can use to replace the old one??? If so can you help me with a part number or brand name? Also, I noticed that it takes a little while to plain with this size prop. After doing a little research it sounds like this size prop is probably not the best size to pull a tube. I was wondering if I went down to a pitch of 19 if I would see a increase in performance? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Please read the stickjies at the top of the page and get us as much info as possible.
You may be able to have the prop repaired at a prop shop. Also as I recall the Capri comes in all kinds of sizes.Yes a 21 sounds like too much for water sports. If you can get us the info we need we can tell better what will work.

What's the length of the boat?
There was 2 models IIRC with 4-cyl's, a 17' and a 19'.
If you have a 19', try a 14.5x17 Solas Amita 4-blade. Will provide good holeshot and cruise speed, only ~$140 shipped here on iboats.
