This is a 1982 J90TLCNB looking from the forward side underneath the carbs. I removed the carbs and noticed this line and can't seem to locate where it is supposed to go? Yes that appears to be oil coming out of it but it doesn't smell like gear oil and I believe this was a premix engine so no VRO. In the picture where you see the oil coming from the end of the hose you can also see where the hose connects to the block.
I'm at a loss if you guys have any ideas.......
Thanks
Bob

There is a nipple on the frame that bolts to the front of the carburetors.

That hose connects the airbox to the suction side of the engine. If any excess fuel fills the airbox, it will get recirculated into the engine and burned off during the combustion of the bottom cyl.
