Ok guys, I cannot get this thing to turn up like it's supposed to. I've cleaned the carbs. Rebuilt the fuel pumps. Adjusted everything to wide open. Replaced the spark plugs. Replaced the stator. It just feels like it is only half the power. No misses, runs smoothly. Just no power at wot. Help!

Test for spark that jumps a gap of 3/8" ( 1 cm ) on all leads.-----You need some sort of tester to perform that test.-----Compression test too.---Was there any debris in the carburetors , yes or no ?------Sounds like it might be running on 4 of 6 cylinders.

The compression test was around 120 psi holding on all six cylinders. And I haven't done a spark test yet. Figured I'd ask about the temp sensor or if it could be coils or coil pack. And yes the bottom carb was clogged by a dirt dobber. The ball pumps up tight and holds and I can see the fuel spraying into each cylinder

I replaced the stator by part number. 0582487 But that number isn't listed on Marine engine for that model?
