1982 johnson150 v6 compression

Getting ready to check the compresssion on a 1982 150 crossfire v6 what should the compression be on that engine.

There is no spec on psi.

On the big V6s psi is often 80-100psi.

The real importance is that all cylinders fall in a 10% range.

I have the same year model and engine. Mine was 100 psi to 106 psi. As stated above your real concern is the differential between all cylinders. 10% variable is good, as long as they all aren't below 80 psi.
