Hello all I have been looking around and have found nothing on this so here I go. I have a 82 mariner 90 that runs great out of the water I put it in gear and away it goes BUT wen I get it in the lake where it has a load on it and try to put it in gear it has a lowd clicking sound and wont go anywhere. So I took it home and tried to adjust the shifter cable if I go out with it I can get reverse to work but I can go all the way in with the shifting linkage and still manage to turn the prop by hand when it should be in the forward position. I am guessing that the LU will need some work and I am hoping I can do it myself. So what do yall think and how hard is this to do?
