1983... 115 hp evinrude question

what size are the three bolt holes on the flywheel to bolt the lifting eye to. are they metric or american. thanks

They are American but I don't know what thread they are. If memory serves me right that 115 has two holes in the case behind the flywheel where you bolt the lifting eye that is made for those motors. Walker

thanks walker..you are right..i found that there is a lifting device already bolted on. is that what you were refering to. thanks

Be aware that if you lift it from there it does not hang straight. It's not a problem, just something to keep in mind.<br /><br />Good luck!
