1983 Bayliner Capri

Brand new to the boating world and need as much help as i can get! I recently bought a 1983(at least i think it is) Bayliner Capri. it has a Volvo Penta AQ125 engine not sure about anything else really. I need to find the serial number so i can register it. can anyone tell me exactly where to find it on the engine(its not on the top or sides that i can see)

It might be different State side but here in Canada your boat is registered using the hull number. My 89 Capri has it on the stern.

yes they require the hull number but they also want the serial on the engine.

I wish I could answer that for you. I wonder what happens if you change engines? If you want it, I'll give you the number off my OMC .
