1983 Evinrude 75HP Power Trim

Hey all,

I acquired a junk motor that has a good tilt and trim unit. My question is - how can I find out what other motors this tilt and trim unit will fit without physically trying to get it to fit?

I tried finding a part number off marineengine and seeing if it cross references to other motors but I’m not having much luck this way. Wasn’t sure if there a better way to do this.

fits up to V-6 models from about 78 to 1988 models.-----But the early ones had a 3 wire motor and solenoid.----Later ones used 2 wire motor with relays.
