1983 johnson 70 horse no spark

I just bought a boat off craigslist with a 70 horse johnson 1983 model. The lower unit was locked up so i removed that and im trying to start the motor now... its getting gas, its got new plugs, but there is no spark on any of the three cylinders. the motor turns over perfectly had over 110 psi on all 3 cylinders just no spark... where should i start looking and how do i go about it. thanks alot

Remove the black/yellow wire from the pulse pack. If you have spark then it's a boat or mtr wiring harness prob. If not it's an ignition system prob on the mtr.

the kill switch was shorted internally, clipped the black wire with yellow tracer inside the remote, wire nutted it off and it fired right up.
