The motor seems to run great, 150 psi in all cylinders, new fuel pump diaphram and primer bulb. After the motor is warmed up when I come to a stop and proceed to take off it just does nothing, I have to rev it up a bit then put it in forward to go. Kinda like its starving. When It does go, there is a slight sputter in power but takes off.
I'm able to get 40 mph out of it at 5100 rpm's. So I would think the motor is heathy. If anyone has suggestion that will be great. One more thing, does the motor have to be below a certin angle to run, it seems it will not start if I'm pitched to high.

Sounds to me like you maybe just need to have your carbs cleaned. The angle thing is no big deal, every merc I have ever had is like that, I guess that is just a carb thing.

Its funny cause It almost acts like a switch,
Can I just spray some cleaner in the carbs or do I have to remove everything?

Well it does have a mercury switch, so that it will not run when trimmed all the way up.

Spray carb cleaner will do nothing for you, it is best to remove the carbs and disassemble to clean.

Ok I will do that, Is there only one part that needs adjusting If I do this? It looks to be just the idle mixture screw. If there is another please let me know.

Scott
