1983 Mercury 50HP

I believe I have a 1983 Mercury 50 motor. I couldn't confirm with my seriel from the above references. Any help? Seriel number 7201482 says made in Canada.
Also I believe this motor should run 50:1? Correct?

All 3 correct... Canadian made 1983. Use 50:1, and use a TC-W3 rated oil....

Two Cycle Water cooled, revision 3

Like the 'S' rating for petrol engine oil and the 'C' rating for diesel engine oil....

They are just a serial number, the only meaning they have is to identify the engine....
