I purchased this boat to use some parts for another boat that was beyond repair. So I decided to fix this one up.
120hp mercruiser.
The boat had been sunk in salt water by a storm and was given up for dead. Alot of work went into repairing the engine and electrical system. Total cost so far.....$400

I'll bet, there were numerous issues. Thats a nice boat you have there, and putting one of these hulls in Salt, is well,...... it keeps you on your toes, especially around shallow coastal water. Would I take one of these hull/motor/drive out on the Atlantic outer banks, or even the inner banks? mabe the inner on a calm day. I think you'd sink from swamping the stern if you got plowed with a wave from the rear or rear/side. But.......on Lakes.......so tame and planes so sweet. Master the prop and trim, and you'v got a great putter or 40 mph boat.

I'v just pulled the teak from all over the boat, sanded and varnished everything, and while not taxing, it took time and a deft hand.

I can only imagine what things you must go over to get it all clean and working.
You won't be dissapointed with the Stingray for a small bowrider :)
