1983 thundercraft 470 merc cruiser 170hp

i just bought this boat it came with no manual for maintenance or winterizing can someone provide one? there is no repairs to do just i have to put a alternator conversion kit on because the voltage regulater is no good it over charges battery and i was told it's better to put a alternator on then replace regulater.
WOW!! what a change from owning a 25hp boat
