I've found an '83 Tidecraft bass boat on craigslist with a Mariner 150HP, and I am wondering what everyone's opinion is on the quality of this boat/boat manufacturer. I've see some posts elsewhere that were not positive, like run far and fast, etc.
Also, the owner said everything was solid, as it was kept in a garage most of the time. In regards to the boat itself, I'll check the deck over with an awl, and trim up the motor then lean on it to check the transom. Anything else I should check?
